The 2019 Michigan Auctioneer Champion, Billy Peyton is a proud member of the Ohio Auctioneers Association, the Michigan Auctioneers Association, and the National Auctioneers Association. The highly talented auctioneer is no stranger to top placements in major auctioneer championships. Peyton won the 2017 Ohio Auctioneers Association Junior Auctioneer Championship and the GoToAuction.com Midwest Auctioneer Championship in 2018. In two consecutive years, Peyton was ranked in the Top 15 finalists in the 2017 and 2018 International Auctioneers Championship. Then he appeared in the 2018 World Automobile Auctioneers Championship coming in as a finalist in that competitive contest. When not selling automobiles and equipment, Billy is part of his wife’s cattle/grain farming operation of over 800 acres.

Barrett Bray is the 2018 International Auctioneer Champion and the 2018 Oklahoma State Auctioneer Champion. He is a first-generation auctioneer from Oklahoma City, OK celebrating his 10th year in the industry. Barrett is a graduate of the Texas Auction Academy in Dallas, TX and of Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. He has been awarded designations by the NAA in Auction Marketing Management and as a Benefit Auction Specialist. He will graduate from the Certified Auctioneer Institute in 2019. In January of 2018, Bray launched his own auction company, Bray Auctions in Oklahoma City. Barrett has been married to his wife Kristin since 2008, and they have 2 daughters, Everleigh (6), Olivia (4) and a newborn son, Beckett Kristopher.

David G. Helmer CAI, CES, GPPA is the President of Braun and Helmer auction Service Inc. based out of Ann Arbor, MI. Braun and Helmer is a full service auction company since 1971 specializing in estates, sports memorabilia, farm, benefits, and real estate.
David conducts approximately 100 auctions a year. Helmer is also the owner of The Super Auction, a specialty auction that takes place two times a year featuring major collections. He works with many nonprofit groups like the Detroit Tigers Foundation, NFL Alumni, and Motts Children’s Hospital.
In the past he has conducted and managed several major auctions including: The Yeck Military Museum, several professional athletes including Ron Kramer, sold a major collection of Susan B. Anthony letters, and two large estate collections of vintage motorcycles both resulting in several world records. Helmer is Michigan Auctioneers Association past president, state champion auctioneer, and ring man champion. He has competed internationally several times and is also a past Trustee of National Auctioneer’s Foundation. He was inducted into the MAA Auction Hall of Fame in 2014. David graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Major in Communication and a Minor in Marketing. Helmer is also a 1996 graduate of Missouri Auction School. He has also been an GPPA appraiser for twenty plus years. David is married to Jennifer and has three kids Olivia, and twin boys Luke and Caleb. He enjoys reading, collecting, talking, travel, and family.

Jason Hallberg has conducted over 150 farm machinery, industrial equipment, and classic car auctions along with over 500 auctions of other kinds and sells over 2,000 pieces of machinery and 10+ pieces of real estate each year. He’s been a top producing real estate agent selling over 75 properties a year and being a part of over 750 real estate transactions in Iowa and Minnesota. Conducting and consulting for machinery and real estate auctions in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Missouri, Jason is appreciated by many peers in the industry as an expert on machinery, and residential real estate valuation and marketing.
He is currently the President of Continental Auctioneers School. Jason has completed the course work and is a Certified Personal Property Appraiser. His appraisal skills are sought after by many banks and legal counsel. He lives in Lakota Iowa with his wife and three children. He’s been an award-winning Rodeo Announcer and has given sales training presentations to some of the top corporations in America. Jason is a very active auctioneer conducting and working 100 plus auctions a year and is a vocal advocate of the auction method of marketing.
